Steven Spielberg on the Importance of Studying Classic Films

@MattBond1 just responded to this post on twitter with a great question — “great but what are his favourite films?”

A few weeks back there was a Google Document floating around, unofficially referred to as the list of movies you must see in order to work with Steven Spielberg. It’s unclear wether or not this list is a legitimate list from Spielberg, I doubt he would come up with a must see list of films in order to work with him. I wouldn’t fully count out either though that it could be a movie recommendation list from Spielberg. Anyways, checkout the link below.

I’ve only seen about 60+ of these films, I got a lot of learning to do still!

    I would say that it’s classic American films since there are only a couple of European ones… :)
